The Rapid Response Gallery images will be discontinued in early 2020. The existing images will be archived in NASA's Visible Earth. Other captioned imagery is available in NASA's Earth Observatory and the MODIS Gallery. The same imagery available in Rapid Response, and many more layers, are available in NASA's Worldview and Global Imagery Browse Services (GIBS).
