HTTPS Sites

LANCE-MODIS has two standalone systems (i.e., nrt3 and nrt4) to improve availability. The nrt3 is the main system whereas nrt4 system is back-up to the main system. Data products may be accessed from the HTTPS sites of either system. It is recommended that users should always download data from nrt3, the main server. However, in the event of main (nrt3) server is not available for some reasons, user can access and download data from nrt4 server. An email notification is always sent to all LANCE-MODIS users when either or both nrt systems are down for maintenance or for any other reason.

Users must register before accessing the LANCE-MODIS sites. Please visit the Earth Data User Registration System (URS) at https://earthdata.nasa.gov/urs/register to register for a username and password.
